I was born in Uzbekistan and grew up in a town in East Frisia. When I was 13 years old, I started to experiment with HTML, JavaScript and PHP for private websites. After high school, I moved to Kassel where I studied computer science. In Kassel I dove deeper into programming languages like Java and Ruby. When I finished my studies I moved to Berlin. Currently I live close to Berlin (Bad Saarow) and work at HERE.

My parents are music teachers and in school I was in a special music
class. When I was older I assisted in my parents’ music school.
I have really enjoyed teaching people, especially music theory.
In Berlin I started to contribute as coach at some events: OpenTechSchool,
Rails Girls and NodeSchool
I did some talks, for instance at Berlin Hack and Tell, BerlinJS and Fullstack.js. You can find them on Speaker Deck.
I love the concept of Open Source. In 2012 was my first contribution for Symfony2 and Doctrine. In 2013 I became the core maintainer for js2coffee until the origin author did a rewrite from scratch. In 2014 I've started maintaining component, a package manager and build tool for the frontend.
